Data stored on device
PVE Monitor stores the following data locally on the user's device:
- Server profiles, including display name, product type, base URL and transport settings.
- Credentials, including API token IDs/secrets and optional Cloudflare Access service-token fields.
- Optional certificate fingerprint values entered by the user.
- Local operation history for power and backup-maintenance actions.
This data is stored through the platform secure storage layer and is used only to connect to servers configured by the user.
Data sent to servers
When the user tests a connection, refreshes monitoring data or runs an operation, PVE Monitor sends requests directly to the configured PVE/PBS endpoint, or through the user's configured Cloudflare Access service-token flow.
The app does not send server credentials, monitoring data or operation history to a developer-operated backend.
Analytics, ads and tracking
PVE Monitor does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or third-party tracking SDKs. The app does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Data sharing
PVE Monitor does not sell user data and does not share locally stored credentials with third parties. Server inventory, task, storage and backup information is requested directly from endpoints configured by the user.
Data deletion and privacy choices
Users can remove individual server profiles or use the in-app clear-data control to delete saved server profiles, credentials and local operation history from the device. The app does not create a developer-hosted account.
Children's privacy
PVE Monitor is intended for infrastructure administrators and is not directed to children.
